Ok everyone this is the most MAJOR thing happening in 2009!!! FINALLY RANDOM BLENDS IS OPEN!!! YAY!!! haha my awesome pictures are up on the wall and it is brought to life by the threads!!!

Those of you who are reading this and havent seen my work then go down before 8 march!!! Well for those who cant make it then it is ok! I will give u a brief summary of what my piece of work mean!

Basically the colors represent the social setting we are in and the threads are the people we meet in life. Life is random hence the threads are placed randomly on the pictures but in life we always seek to organise the mess and thus explaining the lay out of my pics. Emotions are invoked in every different situation and finally you are left wondering which is the real you. The small little ball of white thread represents you and in comparison to the world (the other colored threads), you are miniscule. Hence the size of the white thread.

OMG!!! Hope you all get to see it with your own eyes! I am so proud of myself and in love with wat I am doing!!! Bringing narcissism to the next level!

Hmmm... ok as you can see I havent been very active lately in blogging so here I am to jus do some summary on what's going on!

So the last post was about me getting my license and yes today I FINALLY got my LICENSE! HAHA It is finally done... But my dad has not talked about getting any car or somehting at the moment so I guess it would hav been to wait for me to start driving on the road so the roads are safe! for now tat is... HAHA

N yes a new year has started and tat means a brand new semester too! and this sem is jus gonna be SUPER busy for me (ok I know tat sounded very cliche... seems like I say it every sem haha) but I think I jus might be right this time! Cos no one I know of have EVER been so retarded like me... WHO does 5 NM mods with 4 level 3000 1 level 2000 n 2 unexaminable ones!? PURE INSANITY!!! So this sem is seriously gonna be BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!

So like every other sem, I always wanted to start my exercise project HOT BOD routine! and like every sem, it would fail cos of my lack of motivation/discipline/dedication... But I guess I have to do something if I intend to NOT do any RT (Remedial Training for those not familiar with NS terminology) since my IPPT window is closing in like... less than 2 MONTHS?! (This brings me to my next point which is my BIRTHDAY IS COMING AGAIN!!! YAY!! n yucks... another year has gone by and I have yet to do anything interesting with my life...)

So like wat I said previously, I intend to quit the clubbing scene and dedicate my life into being healthy! haha (cos I heard drinking alcohol makes u fat and me not doing much exercise need to cut down on the calories I take in! and the late nights and Mac breakfast eveytime we go club is not helping me look any better... the skin... the eye bags... EVERYTHING! haha so yes no more clubbing! FOR REAL!)

And recently I did something super NOT ME! I told the truth (ok kinda) to another person... Not sure if it was the right move but I suppose it was about time I said something about it and not hide beneath a mask again... However did it feel better after telling the truth? hmm honestly speaking... not really... I feel like things just cant get back to what it was used to be... Like what she said... I'm entering a new chapter of my life right now and she had done so, so it is time for me to do it...

Oh one more thing... Some of you might hav heard it from me that I being slightly proactive right recently... haha However i guess i have a serious case of ADD cos i hav kinda stopped... I feel like it might be one sided so... nothing motivates me to carry on... I duno I shall see wat happens haha

Oh yes... FYI... this might be the last post for this blog... cos it is just NOT me to blog about it for the entire world to see... or jus maybe for those whom I know to see... haha so yes I might or might not abandon this but till the next post, I guess farewell for now...

HAHA looks like lady luck is on my side! I finally passed my driving!!! Ok this is my first attempt and I passed it! WHAT R E ODDS!!! N how dare cheryl say I'm a bad driver! =P HAHA Although everything seemed bad during my lesson half an hour before my test, everything was A-OK during the test! HAHA got a lenient tester (says my instructor who has absolutely no faith in my driving skills) n also one of the easiest or the EASIEST test route haha Despite the many road blocks I encounter today on the road, my super pro driving skills only got me a 12 demerit points! haha n today was quite random anyhow talk to people in the driving center... Duno them jus talk then later nothing to talk so awkward la... I wan to listen to my ipod but cannot haha cos tat is so rude... so end up standing there n stone... well...

I'M OFFICIALLY LEGAL to drive on the road!!! HAHA

Ok it has been ages since I last posted something... this dec hols is jus too short to do EVERYTHING!!! haha my body is so feeling what clubbing every week brings... soo anyways i got my results like duno when... n the leak was accurate! haha a freaking 4.29?! of course that is for just this sem only... Overall it is a 3.73 i think... sucks I knew I should hav SUed my Living with Mathematics in my yr one sem one! haha

The thing is the CAP score I saw might not be accurate cos it is jus too impossible... But I m keeping my fingers crossed that it is true! haha if it is then my dream would come true!!!

So some of you might have seen this series of pictures... Anyways I went to claim my portfolio back and i received some comments from Jing, my lecturer. She said she was conflicted, not sure if the pictures were conceptual enough. But she placed my in the conceptual area at the end of the day...

I personally like them but I dun think it is very well received by her. So I'm not very optimistic about the grade for this sem... I hope I get at least a B+...

I personally regret blowing the pics out to big in the portfolio... I will do it differently if I have time to redo...

Oh my god... Cant believe I survived the HELL WEEK!!! It was insane... I cant believed I watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby 3 times!!! It was insane... Such a trashy movie... N I cant believe i sat thru an entire sunday writing a 2200 word essay on tat...

Next I went to Changi Hospital to take some pics, It was damn fun but... I ended up feeding so much blood, i felt faint afterwards! But it was fun we camwhored alot! haha especially Marcus... My god...

I also had to create 6-10 pics on the theme 'Look into the ordinary'... It was impressive looking at everybody else's work... Esp Rahman's 7 deadly sins... it was jus awesome! Mine look bad compared to theirs...

Basically mine was about Insecurities and how people hide behind material objects to conceal their insecurities... So after much help from EVERYONE.. (It felt like their idea instead of mine) I got the pics out! haha

HAHA yes today is STRAW DAY!!!

So you might be asking 'What IS STRAW DAY?!' Well Straw Day is when you are supposed to drink through STRAWS! haha Even when you are drinking from your water bottle! And when you are drinking through your straws, you feel loved cos you know somewhere out there another person you love dearly is drinking through a straw too! So you are connected with them through straws and feel loved...

So yesterday after going to sch for a project meeting which only lasted an hour, I spent most of my time helping Stacey, the person behind the conception of Straw Day, to prepare for her straw glasses, fans, magic wands and sash for Mr Straw King... (Nope dun worry tat is not me haha) As usual we made a fool of ourselves yesterday in the deck... I wonder why!?

Oh while posting these pics of us in our straw made retro big glasses, I found these pics of Banana/B2 and I at the PHILANTROPHIC (hope I spelt it rite) Civil Defence charity event premier of Max Payne (which sucked big time).

Hello Upper Eastsiders!

Another cam whoring moment with the Es at the Deck last fri! haha Made lots of unnecessary noise which gave weird stares from people around us... Ok dun get me wrong I'm just overwhelmed cos I've been reading non-stop about child pornography in Japan since yesterday! My eyes are now rolling out of their sockets!

The interesting thing is the history of pornography in Japan! haha Started in the Edo period, pornography existed in wooden pictorials called Shunga. Basically during that period, Edo was consisted of mostly men, who travelled from all over Japan to work or to learn who to write and read etc. So all these men without the chance to meet the right gal in a male populated city, they turn to prostitution and PORN! haha so tats how porn become so popular! As you know Japan is the place where people visits public baths and parade with their genitalz hanging out totally no religious or social taboos attached to nudity. So porn is widely accepted into the mainstream! haha

Porn at that time, like now, had various genres of sexual acts, heterosexual, homosexual and even animism. And the people viewing porn come from everywhere, different age groups, genders, social classes etc. It was even rumoured that in laws give the wives shunga when they marry.

It was until the Meiji Restoration period that the Japanese government decided to practice censorship. This is because they are worried what the European countries would think of them. This persists till now, tats why when you watch jap porn now, unless it is meant to be circulated overseas, the genitals would be censored/mosaiced.

This is also the time where they start to use other forms of things to represent penetration. Like octapuses attacked (raping) a woman.

Right now, the west have a negative connotation of Japanese porn. Basically they think Japanese are sadistic people who enjoys weird stuff like rape and SM (sado-masochism). But this is not really true. Because of the language barrier, alot of the storylines for their porn are removed to avoid BORING the audience! So the only parts they show are sex, sex and more SEX! haha So thats what caused the misunderstanding...

Well after so much, I'm still not very sure what's up with people's liking for child porn! haha hmm but i suppose that is like asking why some people dun eat seafood... So yes after reading 125143million texts and articles on Japan and child pornography, I have a stand. I think the production, distribution and possession of child porn of any kind, anime, manga, games etc, should be banned all together. I mean it totally traumatises the children! It also endangers children's life! I agree that watching porn (any kind of porn) is a way for someone to release the urges/desires/needs. It acts as a healthy way of release so people wont really go COMMIT the act. But I also think there are some people who after watchin porn, would start having weird ideas on what they will do. I mean like some media theories we learnt, I agree that media do influence to a certain extent, our actions and the way we think. I mean, after watching too much bimbo shows, you will tend to suddenly speak and act like them. I dun mean like u become TOTALLY brainless or a zombie devoid of your own thoughts but it jus becomes part of you... the cultivation theory or something along those lines la... (Shit I need to study for my NM2101 real bad haha not even sure what I'm saying is correct or not... the only theory I know is the framing theory...)

Ohkay.. so as i was sayin, porn might act as an outlet for people but it might also lead to real physical sexual attacks on people. Furthermore, children are so young and vulnerable, the more we should protect them from such predators. Hence I agree tat Japan should take a stand and ban possession of all child pornographic material, even if the images are not of real children.

So yes fyi I'm so dead this week, I have this NM3210 Cybercrime project due next tues (I so dunno how to do this project!!! so stress! I feel like i'm writing a summary which is not the case for a research paper!!!), A Film and History assignment due this Fri 12noon and NM2216 and NM3210 tutorial assignments to do by fri as well... Not to mention I gotta do research or something for my NM2101 project as well... and my NM3223 exhibition this week!!! So NO TIME!!! I got an interview on sat morning, Jiamin's Bday on sat nite! (havent buy her present yet!!!) (thank god I said I'm quitting cheerleading if not it would be worst... totally cram to the max!)

Luckily I am going to watch the free Max Payne movie screening tonight with my banana!!! haha (Ok after all these porn things i just realised how inappropriate that sounds...) haha I think I wrote a mini essay already!

Oh haha I'm also now super into Christina Aguilera's Keep Getting Better song and Tokio Hotel's Don't Jump (an emo song! haha ok I've been listening to them for awhile already but I jus wanted to mention it cos they are not very mainstream now...)

HAHA today was super fun! Met out with the S20 gang to celebrate our yearly WeiQuan and HuiMin's Birthday! It has been a long long loooonnngggg time since we met out in such a big group lots of catching up to do... haha So dear old Benji organised this outing to Minds Cafe which a little problem happened... He invited EVERYONE except the birthday boy haha! Hilarious! Luckily WeiQuan was free la! Blur as hell...

So yes we cam whored lots and made LOTs of noise!!! We were screaming like the entire place was ours alone while playing the dinosaur skeleton game (never played that game cos the box looked damn boring haha so never judge a book/game by it's cover!) which was DAMN FUN!!! haha Luckily I didnt lose cos the things we force them to do are jus humiliating! haha n WeiQuan is damn VIOLENT in the game!!! I suspect he bruised SY! haha but I wont be surprised if it was SY herself cos the game is seriously violent and you never know what u'll do jus so not to LOSE!!! haha

So after the games, those who are free and have nothing better to do decided to go take a hike around City Hall. We marched all the way from The Cathay to Bugis to Miss Clarity's (which was closed for some weird reason) and went to some famous fish slice noodle place which was damn crowded so went back into Bugis Junction! After sweating 1247364million litres of perspiration (pronounced by our Miss Chai as PES-PERATION not sure y the R is silent haha), we decided to go hav dinner at some Hong Kong restaurant which I dun rememebr the name except for the Ah Wang Hong Kong actor guy acting as the mascot! The food is yummy especially the bread french toast thingy!!! AND not to mention we dug up loads of saucy info which I've NEVER heard before man... Filled in all the blanks/most of them anyways haha...

Oh after the entire day of fun and laughter, I realised I forgot to print my photos for my exhibition next week!!! ok it is THIS WEEK cos it's past midnight already... sucks Y am I still online?! I should be sleeping away like a Sleeping Beauty!!! I got 9am class tomorrow morning!!! SUCKS!!! EYEBAGS!!! DARK (ONION) RINGS UNDER MY EYES!!!

OH! haha YuSheng told me he saw the Angel pics and he liked it! Esp the white one! haha THANKS MAN!!! Dun worry you will find u calling soon! haha have fun in ENGINE!!! It sure will be interesting in some way or another! Time will tell! Lucks!

The Es!!!

Ok so yes we cam-whored yesterday at the deck after I got my camera and went to meet the Es for Yong Tau Fu. And seemed like Vicky had something going on and I hope she is feeling much better now... and after awhile, Ms Lopez got in to the upcoming Halloween mood and decided to show me her costume! It was hilarious and embarassing but as usual we are too COOL to be bothered by the frequent stares we receive from the people walking by!

So had the cheerleading performance today... I would say it was not bad... The most fun in the past few weeks and not to mention alittle drama... haha ok not tat much drama but quite drama la...

Ok so as I was saying although my 'Chair' didnt go up as planned (very disappointed with myself), it was still fun and exciting! haha this got me thinking about my choice...

So after the performance I left quite fast and for the first time in my LIFE (I think) I ate BK ALONE!!! hai no one wants to come out n makan dinner with me... but aiya I wanted to take some night shots as well so... what der heck haha So after shooting for a million and one times at the MOON, I finally got one decent one which is not shakey/blur/over exposed/under exposed etc... haha well I tot it looked not bad so HERE IT IS!!! It is gonna take over my Handphone Low Key shot.
Oh and this is my fav shot of tonight also! Was trying to act pro in front of this other DSLR user, despite the fact that I was desperately looking for the buttons to adjust the ISO and wonder y cant I adjust the aperture and other stuff... sucks!

Ok I dun understand why everyone is giving Victoria Beckham such a hard time with her and her beauty regime! Just to update those who might not know what is going on...

Basically it is let known that Victoria goes for expensive 'Geisha Facials' to improve her skin. The product is made from Nightingale (yes it's a bird) crap. So now people are all giving Vicky B a hard time with her applying bird poo on her face to get perfect skin. I mean what's wrong!? It's not like she is EATING them or anything... and if it works Y NOT!? Dun give the bullshit that looks dun matter cos just admit it...

I was watching JDMA today in the sch library and this male model is giving the plus size models attitude cos they are jus not size 0! I mean a person can be comfortable in their skin but it just sucks to be constantly protecting yourself from insensitive people! Some people says well looks dun matter what matters is the inside... Yea this is something created by BEAUTIFUL people to console the UGLY ones!

Final Act

Well 2 more days! haha yes you know me... I'm a 'CCA-butterfly' (Victoria, Oct 08) I'm finally hanging up my pom poms after 8 weeks of intensive skipping of cheerleading trainings... The experience has been nothing but regrets... I guess it just didnt start off very well... getting in after everyone bonded and being a senior in the junior batch is not helping either... (although alot of the juniors think that i'm a junior HAHA)

So ya this sat's performance will be my first (cos I last min pulled out on the previous performance outside the library...) and last cheerleading performance... Finally i get some myself time... haha not that cheerleading is all that bad... it was fun until I noticed something... haha

Anyways today's training left me bleeding on my left brow and a broken 7 years old spectacles... oh dun worry cos since it is under my brow, it is well hidden cos of my infamous THICK EYEBROWS!!! so maybe it is time to get a brand new one!!! haha gotta go spectacle hunting this weekend!

Oh and thanks for your comments on my Angel picture... but unfortunately my tutor advised me to NOT use it for this assignment but for my final 30% assignment... So I guess i'm heading back to the drawing board and gotta brainstorm on more surreal stuff... currently got a few ideas swirling around in my brain but nothing really solid yet until I do get the pictures and sit down and photoshop them... hmm oh and Vicky said 'I cannot please everyone' so ya dun worry if you all think the angel picture is crap haha... although it did hurt alittle but it's ok I will live on and improve... New Assignment: Urban Fantasy/Surrealism

Hi all you all might have seen this pic on my msn display... So here I am to tell u all the story behind the creation of the pic...

Firstly, I got an assignment from my NM3223 Digital Photography module titled Urban Fantasy and using Surrealism (go google it!) for this assignment... So the first thought that came to mind was Consumerism! I mean labels and brands are part of our everyday life! haha so I decided to use the Disney Princesses to channel this idea. I wanted to use Snow White and Cinderella for this particular assignment...

However, as you can see, the pics are HIDEOUS!!! Badly done... so after the terrible tutorial presentation on monday, I was racking my brains to get another idea... The tutor and my frens told me to stick to my idea since it is good... So stick with it I did but I got rid of the princesses haha...

Then while I was shopping one day, (yes I knoe I should be studying instead...) I passed by Paragon and I saw the labels on the walls... Then, it was right there, inspiration STRUCK me like a lightning did!!! I decided to make brand names stick out of a person's back like a porcupine or something with that person being tied by other brands as well... However the image evolved and it became Angel wings instead... The initial model I had was Ms Cheryl Low (oops sorry it is Mrs Zhang now haha) but because the image didn't turn out very good, (not because of the model la it's cos of other things I am sure... haha) I decided to use myself instead! (My ANTM moment! So FUN!!! haha) So TADA!!! The pics are here!!!

Ok here is the story/explanation behind the image...

Angel Wings - Glorification of the labels, raising one's status and image, boosting one's self confidence.
Tattoes - Labels and brands are like a second layer of skin to us, we use them like a necessity no longer as a commodity.
Strings - We are bound/constraint by the labels and brands we so love. We are victims of consumerism but we put ourselves in this position. We are tied down by their existence trying desperately to pursue the high life.

I originally wanted the image to be black and white or abit yellowish however, after using the 'Blue Label', I decided if I change EVERYTHING to black and white would do it injustice... Hence I decided to just use it as it is... However, the background seemed rather bland... Hence I would like your suggestions on how to make it look better... maybe like what Anli said, 'a background which can convey the meaning of the image as well.'

Here are some of the suggestions I have:

Marcus said the original white background image is good enough... And another way is to turn the angel upside down, making him hang on the top, holding onto the strings as well trying not to fall onto the bed of needles at the bottom of the image... Firstly, I like the idea but that means I mus pose like I am holding onto the strings? and furthermore, I mus change the words as well? so that they do not appear upside down? and also how do u create a bed of needles? haha

SY agreed that the original image is good enough also but maybe if I insist on using colors, use the gradient one? like the blue on top whitening out at the bottom... And the use of a softer color...

I personally like the white background and light blue background... Well wat r ur tots?

Oh and I havent been updating much because I am so BUSY!!! Some of you might know that I cant MULTITASK!!! Have been too busy with school (but the funny thing is I havent start studying for it yet! haha so dead), cheerleading (eh my consistent skipping of trainings is annoying I know cos I'm not exactly a big fan of sweating! sucks... Project hot bod is so not working out this sem...) driving (my driving test is on 29th Dec 2008!!! Yippeee! Wish me luck! Oh did I mention I havent started on parking YET?!), work (hmm ok 2 days a month is soooo not considered work!)

Shit I gotta stop procrastinating and start doing some actual WORK! damn... I even stopped watching my fav shows! Damn it... that means the thing that is occupying my time now is... SOCIALISING?! WTF?! well what to do when you are POPULAR!!! haha sucks...

CHIQUITITA TELL ME THE TRUTH!!!

Ohhh... MAMA MIA is so nice!!! The movie is so cheesy fun! haha Would love to watch it again cos (not blaming anyone in particular) i missed the first song... The movie wasnt all that nice, I mean there were scenes that were so cheesy it made Epic Movie look nice! They were like nachos swimming in a pool of hot melted cheese! So sick...

But the songs on the other hand are marvellous! Was supposed to watch it with JX but was too emo-ish to go watch... so now I found LZ to watch it with! haha Such a nice happy show... Meryl Streep is so pretty and she sure can sing! Pierce Brosnan on the other hand looked super uncomfortable singing haha and he sounded weird...

Just finished my Disney day with two movies, Camp Rock and High School Musical 2! Both SO NICE!!! haha yes I know High School Musical 2 is like so last year! (literally cos I remembered I was doin my sem1 horrible math module and talking about the show coming out soon... MEMORIEESSS!!! ALL ALONEEE IN THE MOOONLIGHTTT!!!)

Ya both movies were nice but the best movie today was Big Trouble In Little China!!! It's damn RETARDED! So JX-Trashy-humour!!! So NICE and HILARIOUS!! haha I love how when the two sorcerors fight with their hand beams, the bad guy crossed his pinkies and toggled his thumbs like he was playing some PS3 game! haha he was controlling his virtual projected samurai to fight Egg Shen (the good guy)!!! Damn FUNNY!!! And Kim Catrall from Sex and the City is in it also! She was so young and SKINNY!!! So HUSSY-ish!!! haha

And today kinda suck cos after last saturday's outing, I'm now down with a major BLOCK NOSE!!! I cant BREATHE!!! And my throat is tight and weird... I think I'm definitely coming down with something MAJOR!!! Let's hope it's nothing worse cos being sick is damn boring and annoying... And because of me falling ill, I decided to withdraw from tomorrow's Alpha Verve performance outside the library...

OH MY GAWDDDD!!! My body is ACHING ALL OVER!!! I jus returned from my FIRST cheerleading training today and it was TERRIBLE!!! First everyone kinda looked like they formed friendships already and secondly the training was EXTREME! It felt like DRAGON BOAT all over again... Intense... I ran, chin-ups, dips etc till i felt like a 5 month pregnant woman suffering from morning sickness! And after, while doing the cooling down and stretching, my legs and hands were cramping like nobody's business! INSANE! One thing I like is... my BICEPS!!! haha FINALLY!!! I got biceps like a STACEY Lopez! But i'm sure it will disappear soon but till then... I have it immortalised now! HAHA

HELLO!!! It has been ages since I last updated something on this!

So as you know school has started and since i'm unable to multi-task, I'm having difficulty balancing EVERYTHING! So here are some of the things that I am gonna do or is doing...

First, some of you might know, I'm now a CHEERLEADER! haha NO! it wont be another dragon boat incident! I'm gonna stay through and get my hot bod! haha

Secondly, I'm gonna join MUAY THAI also! haha SO COOL RITE! I tell you after this sem, I'm so gonna get banging hot Michael Phelps-ish ABS and biceps of a STACEY LOPEZ!

Thirdly, highly motivated by BETTY BENJI and STACEY LOPEZ's speedy improvement in DRIVING! I'm gonna be starting on my driving lessons SOON! Tomorrow marks my first driving lesson! So watch out F1! Here I come!

Fourth, since I have so much bills to pay, I'm gonna work! Not everyday cos of shit loads of assignments and projects on my hand this sem... So good luck SY! Hope we can be COLLEAGUES!

Fifth, like I said this sem I'm doing 2 non examinable mods so it's gonna be damn busy for me throughout... Just last fri, I submitted a 500 word assignment already... I know so SOON RITE?! Unbelievable... But DEAN'S LIST here i come! *keeps my fingers crossed HAHA*

Sixth, how can I hav no social life?! So no worries beautiful people! You all will get a piece of me! I'll make time for you all! haha

Lastly, how can I neglect my animes, mangas and american tv?! I mean september is the time where 90210 2.0 is debuting! And also Season 2 of GOSSIP GIRLS, Desperate Housewives, Heroes, Ugly Betty(I think) and MANY MORE!!! haha CANT WAIT!

Ya so you see! with so much on my hands you can only understand how busy I am! So it's not that I'm neglecting people or being non-proactive k! If I didnt msg or ask you all out means I'm BUSY! So forgive me! ASK ME OUT! haha

Oh and since STACEY keeps commenting how her ear drums are bursting with my loud music, I've decided to remove it... haha I agree it does get kinda annoying after awhile... Yes I know this is a super upbeat happy song by Cyndie Lauper but his rendition is jus so sad! So emo-ish! Tat I'm feeling emo hearing it! And so this is my emo song of this sem! haha

Oh and I forgot to mention I'm right now having The Hills marathons haha trying to catch up to season 4... I hope there will be some one uploading season 3 cos now there are only 2 episodes... The Hills is so NICE and DRAMA! haha GO WATCH PEOPLE!!!

And this reminds me... Some of you might have heard about my ENCOUNTER last thursday... *plays X-Files theme song* So last thursday when I was walking home in the morning, I heard the sound of water hitting the ground aka PEEING! *GASP* Ya so as I approach my house cautiously, I looked over to my left and I saw the most unsightly thing EVER!!! A NAKED MAN!!! He was in this squatting/shitting position with nothing on except his pants around his ankles and when he noticed me he STOP and STARED at me! *plays Onerepublic song, OMG! the song is so apt for this moment!*

SO yes back to the story, I opened my house door but kept checking if he was still there... and everytime I looked over, I would see him STARIN at me!!! *the HORRORS!!! DUM DUM DUM DUMMMMMM!!!!* So I hurriedly entered my house worrying if he would come touch me with his DIRTY HANDS! But I still kept peeping out to see if he was still there... So after a few peeps, I told my grandma about it and she immediately went hysterical and ran out of the house shouting and scolding at the guy.... (Oh maybe I should mention, the guy is NOT an old man he is somewhere around MY age I think... So ya he might not be THAT crazy as well cos apparently he could converse, deny showing his IC to us, and run when I called the police)

So yes after awhile, my grandmother went back in the house and grabbed the phone, I took the phone and called the cops and the next thing I know, he disappeared without a trace leaving nothing but his rather big pool of URINE and SHIT! Fortunately we didnt have to clean it ourselves, the cops came after like HALF AN HOUR LATER!!! and said they would ask the town council people to clean it up for us... So yes my life has so much DRAMA!!! haha

Oh one more thing, B2! THIS IS WAR!!! How can you post and tag such HIDEOUS pics of me!!! You are so gonna be the next EDISON CHEN or Dawn Yang! It is situations like these that cause those photos to be leaked!

Indonesia Trip: Bandung part 1

Touch down on Indonesia! haha after this picture, we had a 3 hour long road trip down to Bandung!

Indonesia was an eye opener. I totally didnt expect it to be like this. Well somethings I kinda did expect but I didnt expect Bandung to be so chilly in the night and Kampung Daun is just seriously good!

My family and I sitting in one of the hut-like things where we chill and have our meals! The place is so cold that it makes one so comfortable there!

And the food there is jus so yummy too! People with a sweet tooth would so love the place! The banana fritter thing is so DELICIOUS!!! HEAVENLY!!!

HI HI! The amazing ME is BACK!!! haha I know u MISSED ME!!! Everyone's lives became so boring and mundane without me in ur lives?! haha B2 I know u super duper missed me rite?!

Anyways I jus wanna say Indonesia was unexpectedly quite interesting... the pictures and detailed blow by blow of the trip would hav to wait cos I hav no time since sch has started YESTERDAY!!! and I dun hav ALL e pictures so ya...

N after my first day of the new sem, and also my first lecture, I'm alittle stress already... cos NM3217 is going to be MY FIRST INDIVIDUAL PROJECT!!! SUCKS!!! It sounds damn tough and time consuming la... I worry for myself... and being a non-examinable (it's a lie!!! they got a test at the end of the sem before the exam period so it is still MUGGABLE!!!) module, it is heavily based on my assignments and projects and EVERYTHING SOUNDS DAMN BAD... will tell ya'll the details next time...

So ya as I was saying... today was my first lecture for this sem and guess wat! I WAS LOST!!! and when I was searching frantically for my lecture theatre and not be late, I bumped into Darryl! HAHA he was lost with his frens too but I was too lost to be bothered to help them find their way so ya... Thank the million gazillion stars in outer space that I bumped into ShiFa and he helped me find my way like how the Golden Compass would for Nicole Kidman in Golden Compass haha (OHKAY...)

Ya and after the traumatising lecture, I decided to go down to Vivo to meet my mom to do some shopping and stuff haha so ended up buyin myself a pair of shoes was goin for a pair in Pull and Bear... but ended up with Everlast instead haha liked it cos it was green but I like another pair as well... sometimes dun u think y cant u be super filthy rich so that u can buy ALL the different colors of the same pair for different occasions?! hai..

I knew the Indonesia trip next week was not good when it clashed with my Oweek, bidding, being rite before sch, missing the Simbiosis anniversary/Wii day, missing Hannah's Birthday, missing F.I.R. concert and now I am missing one more thing! And it's SUPER BIG AND UBER COOL!!!

The Adventures of JoJo (EDITED)

Once upon a time, there was a girl who loves her pokka dots Pelican-like Jacket and her name is JoJo. She wears her favourite everyday, rain or shine, and eats from her secret stash of food in her pelican-pockets.

One day while she was skiving and secretly eating off her jacket, she heard someone calling out her name.

"WHAT?!" she responded like a true blue smelly Ah Lian.

"Wanna see something cool?" Ang Ang said with a cunning sly look on his very sleepy face.

JoJo was unsure if she wanna see it. But the wheely cracker thingy on the table is tempting her. So she said uncontrollably "Yyyess...."

Unknown to the blur skiving duo, there was somebody else in the office. The master of all disguise aka secret agent EFFY!

After taking a piece of the wheely-cracker thingy, she found a yellow daisy blooming on the corner of the office floor. "What beautiful petals it has!" she exclaimed and with a swift of her hand, she plucked it off the ground and placed it amongst her yellow mane.

When she looked up, the most terrifying act happened! "OMG!! THE HORRORSSS!!!" she gasped totally showing her chewed bits of the cracker and some left overs from lunch 2 hours ago in her mouth.

She was aghast to know that Ang Ang just swallowed a stapler bullet and the million dollar question came up... "Can staplers be eaten?"
Moments later, Ang Ang started to act weirdly... He started to transform and in the wink of an eye *BLINK*, he transformed into HAIRY POTTER!!! And his trusted tissue paper changed into a GIGANTIC calculator! Ang Ang now is know as ANG-STEIN!!!

From Taiwan to US to Tokyo (EDITED)

GUESS WHO'S BACK!

Haha ya I know he has been back close to a week already but YANWEI aka TARZAN aka DD is finally back from Taiwan and the trio is having so much fun together! haha We have so much fun shopping/window shopping and eating and playing Mahjong [did I mention that if we were playin money that day, I might hav been the BIGGEST WINNER?! Cos I got a super ownage set of tiles! I got a GREEN ONE COLOR (Qing Yi Se ALL bamboos) Ping Who with no flowers and ZHI MOH!!! SO much TAI la!!! win money like siao! haha but no man I am no gambler so no regrets man haha jus wanna showoff to ya'll only! hehe (mimicking Joanna's laughter)] and broadening our social network haha by meeting frens of our frens! I even played BASKETBALL with Anli's JC frens! haha it was hilarious cos DD and I were so not dressed for the impromtu crashing of the sports event of this year!

But the sad thing is he is back so close to us returning back to sch man... but no worries if everything goes according to plan for my bidding, I would have the best timetable yet! haha For some of you who might not know... Due to my bad planning skills, I have very bad timetables for the past 2 sems already... So now is the time for me to get at least a 4 day sch week! haha Wish me luck!

And I dunno why but whenever school reopens, I find myself havin a brand new list of shows to watch and when I was havin my holidays, I did nothing about the shows... SUCKS!

Anyways, I'm FINALLY DONE with LOST and Prison Break! Both are such nice shows! I hope Lost will return with a final season to explain EVERYTHING!!! Cos after watching the finale, everything boils back down to the island being a MIRACLE ISLAND!!! I mean WTF la! I dun watch a show for 4 seasons (4 years) to find out that the island is jus magically there and possess weird miraculous abilities that heals people and disrupts time! And although Prison Break still makes you sit at the edge of your seat whenever you watch it, but the problem is... THEY R CONSTANTLY GOING BACK INTO JAIL!

And I can't wait for the new season of Gossip Girl and the season premier of 90210 2.0!!! Shannen Doherty (coolest witch from my favourite TV show ever, Charmed!) would reprise her role in it! COOL STUFF!!!

Ok enough of American TV... Coming back to the east, some super cool and nice animes are now my MUST SEE!!! haha After having 173627episodes of fillers in both Naruto and Bleach, I decided to pick up these two other anime! Both my kind of anime, which is people with POWERS! haha

The first anime is Soul Eater. Yes the drawings and storyline is alittle kiddish and WTH-ish... but I LOVE THE DRAWINGS AND HUMOUR!!! The drawings remind me of Dr. Seuss's art! So cute! haha And the entire anime is jus weirdly funny! haha Simple and light hearted to the max! Love the characters and stuff but I already have my favourite character! If you know me well enough, you would know what kind of characters I like haha Basically the anime is about students in this shinigami school... they (the meister and their partner, one which transforms into their weapon) mus fight and devour 99 souls and 1 witch soul to become the Death Scythe... Nothing too gruesome here jus reminiscent of Shaman King or Full Metal Alchemist... (both are not bad but lousy endings... my god I jus realised how many animes have I watched!!! N I'm not done listing them yet! haha)

The second anime is Tokyo Majin Gakuen. This anime is UBER COOL! It's like a less kiddish version of Gatekeepers (another fav anime of mine)! It's about these 5 students who possess super powers and fight monsters/ghosts/spirits/caspers etc... Like the whole movie-like scenes and stuff and how they tell the story... Just leaves you wanting more! GO WATCH!!! haha This one is more adult/mature (in terms of the art and storyline I guess)...

Oh and was reading thru Perez Hilton's website and chanced upon this super nice song! Momma's Boy by Chromeo! Go listen! or you can find it in my playlist below!

OMG!!! My dad jus returned from the land of the rising sun, Japan! And while he bought back two Burberry BLUE LABEL bags for my mom and sis (FYI: he jus recently bought them a Gucci and a LV bag each respectively), he bought nothing back for me... He only bought a Versace perfume for me with DVB bag and scarf as free gifts... (So sad that they are giving DVB things out for free to jus any customer) Oh I'm not the only one with perfume, my mom and sis has their perfumes too! YSL and Versace! SO UNFAIR RITE!!!

Anyways! Today was a super duper failed attempt at trying to tan ourselves at Sentosa... (Ok not that I am super excited to go tan haha so everything went my way!) So we ended up shopping at Vivocity early in the morning 10 plus o'clock!

And today at Vivocity I bumped into two Andreas! haha JC Andrea RA RA was there with her guitar and UNI dancing queen Aundrea (dunno the spelling haha but I have a feeling it is the same spelling but different pronounciation)!!!

But the most fun thing about today is... I HAD A PET!!! haha although it was a short 1 and a half hours, it was super fun! It was a blue CHEE WA WA balloon dog! N we named it BUTTFACE! (For some apparent reasons!)

Unfortunately I was the culprit for his untimely demise... while trying to inflate the tail of Buttface, I accidentally punctured a small hole and what happened next was too explicit for the faint hearted...

Today is officially Simbiosis's first official Mother's Day as announced by long time employee and 2 time employee of the month Joanna-'I ate my boss's breakfast'-Teh Bing. "So coincidental la that all of us are meeting our moms today! Hehehe," said the giggly employee of the month as she played with her golden streaks of Ah Lian inspired hair as she laughed like an msn emoticon.

The overly enthusiastic Ms Teh even shared with us some rather interesting insights on this year's record breaking superhero movie, The Dark Knight. "Do you know?" she said sounding like a secondary 3 science textbook, "When the Joker dressed up as the nurse, his name tag was 'Matilda', this is in reference to his 2 year old daughter with Brokeback Mountain co-star Michelle Williams."

"And the scene when the Joker clapped his hands when Inspector Gordon was promoted, was not in the script! It was totally Heath Ledger's idea and unscripted! The scene was so apt that the director decided to include it in to the two and a half hour long movie which causes butt aches!" announced JoJo in her dizzy inducing sweater while eating out of a Milo tin.

Mr Ang-'Ang Gu Kueh Doraemon'-Li interrupted with a loud vacumous slurp of his curry white noodles and said, "Ya the movie was damn good! Worthy of my 1000 Thai Baht!" The newly appointed Document Organiser and self proclaimed Mama's Boy's body jerked awkwardly while his fellow accomplice in red Ms Nat-'I love pancakes'-Chan carried on eating her Orh Neh Orh Neh as he carried on piling more blank forms on the infamous Miscellaneous file.

While the interview was coming to an end, it was rudely interrupted by the shrieking laughter of Ms Jo's war cry. She then said, "A funny thought just crossed my mind! Joker's face suddenly looked like mua ji and his red lips remind me of raspberries! Hehehehe!"

The room plunged into a moment of awkward silence while J.T. carried on laughing at her own joke. Seems like Ms Jo is constantly thinking about food.

Swakoo-Sushi

Ya so a Sushi/Swakoo tee is in talks and while everyone is brainstorming a Swakoo looking Sushi, I decided to draw my own sushi! haha Here it is! A Black and White one jus for the tee cos color is expensive and another colored one but as I'm not very good with colors, it might not appear very appetizing for some so beware! Hope this doesn't affect your love for Japanese cuisine! haha

Oh I also wish for an 'S' to appear on the bottom left of the sushi... u know? like something on the green seaweed part... well just an opinion... haha

I have a heart for the tee as well it's all drawn but i cant put it together yet cos of some live trace probs I encounter.. until I solve it or find another way of getting the outlined version, here are the sketches...

Some of you might have find this familiar cos i drew this for JX's 21st birthday present ya basically it is a red heart with fire burning and a scroll right across the heart with words on it... Not sure what would be written on it maybe "Sushi-Swakoo"? and also an 'S' would be drawn on the heart as well most likely via photoshop or something... so anyone good with PhotoShop would like to try? haha

I woke up from a super terrible nightmare this morning and here is what I can remember from my dream but as you all should know a dream doesn't make sense and somehow it reveals some super embarassing facts about me too which I might not disclose HAHA cos seriously it's damn PAISEH!

First if I am not wrong, I rememeber me in a huge lecture theatre with my family and frens and watching some weird performance by not sure who or what... but the thing is the show ended and on the way out, I saw my primary school fren which is TOTALLY WEIRD! (I'm not sure y she had a small cameo in my dream cos it has been ages since we met or had any form of interaction! the last time I remember seeing her is she working in Lido at some cosmetic stall thing)

Then somehow I find myself on a bus with Vicky!!! haha (not Victoria Beckham but Vicky E!) haha we were holding onto this paper with words/lyrics of songs and we were checkin on the scores we got for it apparently we were paid for the words we crossed out or something... (ok I'm not sure what's up with this activity but basically it felt like a homework and I was all sour and sore cos I wasnt paid as much as my fren and not getting what I was supposed to get! Ok the embarassing fact is coming soon!) So while checking for the grading and stuff, I realised that I am not eligible for some tickets issued for my mostly anticipated movie all remade in 3D and stuff! *I'm not gonna tell ya what the movie is cos it seriously is damn embarassing for me! but there was a name in my dream haha* it was called A____L 10! (haha go figure!) So the sour me went "AIYA dun have then dun have lor... not like I wont go to the theatres to watch it myself like tat!"

This is the moment when suddenly some guy I know in uni board the bus and asked the bus driver (who is now my lecturer) where to submit his project! Then the driver/lecturer started to scold him and said "This is not the right size! It should be BIGGER!!!" and I started to panic I turned to Vicky and asked her if there was a project to be submitted today... and she said yes it was due today and I was in SHOCK! She then said it was due at 5pm so I turned to the clock on the bus and it was 18.57! I WAS DESPERATE! so I paniced and asked her about EVERYTHING to do with the project! She said it was about people right now have the choice to choose which religion they wish to be in one, many, or none! (ok I'm not sure why this topic maybe it's a SIGN for the upcoming CORS!) And apparently it was jus a 4 page long double spaced essay (I was relieved to know it was relatively short and effortless haha)

So I got off the bus, after seeing some weird lookin huge Bob the Builder-ish looking men lying flat on the side of the road, and went behind some queue.. (i'm not sure why I went to queue but my mind was constantly trying to think of ways to get out of this conundrum!) and this is when I find my bag MISSING!!! I WAS ONCE AGAIN IN PANIC!!! And this is the moment when I jolted out of my NIGHTMARE and it took me awhile to realise that I'm back in real time and no projects to worry about for now...

Ok... my day was made better after reading a msg from SY! haha she da best! SO NICE... LOVE HER!!!

Hmm my day was feeling kinda sucky today... cos once again I felt like I dun really have tat many ladders n stuff... (well if you know wat I mean) ya but the thing is I had a moment of fun with Sabrina and her bf, Yan, and his frens today at Chua Chu Kang...

The thing I hate about these pics is my EYES!!! they are so weirdly staring at the corner of the pic cos firstly the place is kinda dark and my vision was detered cos I wasnt wearing my contacts haha

Today was my first acting debut! It was a super fun thing to do but acting is not as easy as I tot it would be haha basically Yan, the director, is doing a, I think, 7 minute short film about this professional killer and his series of victims... So he asked me to act as one of the victims... My role was basically me talking on the phone and walking in the carpark and the killer slash my throat and I jus bleed to death...

I was damn amused with the idea and image of me choking in my own blood and holding onto my throat grasping for dear life... My fren told me to channel my inner Paris Hilton House of Wax persona when I do the filming cos of my infamous imitation of Paris Hilton in House of Wax before she dies with a pole stuck in her head...

So I dressed up and took my shots haha EVERYTHING IS SO FUN!!! and seriously filming for a single scene is such a tedious process!!! but everything is so fun haha I can totally see their passion for their project and the whole movie industry and stuff... I felt like I could totally fit in as well cos they are such movie and tv buffs as well! but they know much more than me esp about the directors and stuff and the whole scene transitions and etc... these made me count my ladders as well haha

As I was sayin... the entire thing was damn FUN! I was stained with so much fake blood that I looked damn gross and looked like a human wreckage! haha I was staining everything I touch and everywhere I go! Sabrina was damn funny to watch and be with! My favourite moment was when she pronounced the word DOZEN as DOE-sen! HAHA Her response after was priceless! So bimbotic, simple, innocent and naive! So CUTE!!! haha Well I hope Yan's project goes smoothly and hopefully my acting didnt ruin his film haha

N hopefully I will get my blood stained pics soon so I can show ya'll my acting chops! and also about hopefully maybe I can show u all my short cameo in the film! haha

Anyways as I was saying today is a sucky day... I jus realised also tat I was not informed of a certain program... I'm not sure why maybe it was purely unintentional but ya I was left out... and I saw a message written on my wall which also made me realise am I doin the rite thing? wat if I am left with nothing? stuck in between and attached to none...

Ok on to another topic... I was thinking wat if I use this for the Sushi tee 'S in heart' idea? I would jus need to draw an S in the puzzle heart and we jus print it on a blue tee jus the lines alone no color involved this would cheapen the cost for the tee haha well that is if the sushis see this and stuff cos I didnt inform anyone about it...

THE DARK KNIGHT ROCK!!!

Attention Joanna: Proceed with caution when reading this entry for it is gonna be about The Dark Knight... I hope I didn't reveal anything about the movie just commenting on the characters n stuff... I dun think I mentioned anything about certain scenes or something in the movie so I think it should be ok for u but jus informing u cos u r watching the movie only on THURSDAY!!! which is so long!

OMG! The Dark Knight is seriously damn freaking super duper MAY-jorly SPLENDID!!! So nice la! The entire 2.5 hours are totally worth the money and it didn't feel too long! It leaves u wanting more! hmm ok maybe for me only la but seriously it's a truly amazing movie...

I love the new Batman movies cos their interpretation of Batman is jus so cool! It is like it is possible! Unlike other superhero movies like Spiderman or Superman where they have super powers and face super power foes, Batman faces normal people who are evil due to the evils of society! Which makes it so damn freaking cool!

The Joker acted by the late Heath Ledger is jus AWESOME! He totally owned Batman man... Stole the show... And another favourite character is Harvey Dent who later turned into Two-Face! Never really liked this obsessive compulsive behaviour character in the Batman cartoons or movies who has a thing for flipping coins... But in this movie everything changed! His story is jus awesome! They gave him a legit and relatively well reason to flip his coin to decide his choice of actions! And the scar is jus awesome... Love their interpretation of the entire movie and the characters jus awesome...

LOVE THE SHOW!!! However Batman jus seemed so boring compared to the two villians haha always so broody and conflicted... well he does have his cool emo moments which is philosophical as well... but the Joker's and Two-Face's jus seemed much better... Another thing I liked about this show is the time line involved is so close to the first movie! Which, to me, is kinda cool! It seemed more of a continuation rather than another movie set later after fighting normal foes and now another crazy psychotic mass killing monster is on the lose... I dunnoe what I am saying but I hope u understand cos I am jus amazed and in awe with the show I LIKE!!!

Hmm I have yet to draw anything for the Swakoo tee but I kinda have an idea what I wanna draw jus waiting for the and moment when I have the time to pick the pencil up and draw on an empty part of my already very filled sketch book... I need a new sketch book haha...

Ok this is my new pair of Armani shades! Bcos of this I'm officially BROKE!!!

Oh one more thing, I jus saw the entire mtv for the cheerleader in Heroes u know? Claire Bennet? Hayden Panettiere? Anyways she jus realised her new single backed by Candies (an American clothes brand) the song is mediocre but she is damn PRETTY INSIDE!!! haha I have a feeling I might grow to like the song... shit another trashy song... gotta get them out of my system man...

Hey Hey HEY!!! haha

Anyways I recently watched 2 out of 12343million movies I want to watch! I watched 'Driving Lessons' with Kungfu Joanna Panda and we were acting all SUAKOO in the theatre cos it is the PICTURE HOUSE!!! It wasn't my first time there cos I was there once before with JX a long long long time ago for some Japanese Hula girl movie which was quite nice as well... So we sat at our seats and realised we were seated at B1 and B2!

(If some of you do not understand this mini skit of mine then I feel sad for you cos Bananas in Pyjamas is like the BIGGEST thing ever when we were young! [The Killers song! haha nice])

So we decided to take pictures in the theatre but it was damn embarassing cos we were trying desperately to get as much light as possible and trying to squeeze our fat heads and the words B1 and B2 into the my 2gig?*ok I dunno how to spell* camera phone... here are some of our attempts...

Oh the movie is starring the guy acting as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies he is damn retardedly funny inside... not slapstick humour but very smart british humour which I constantly hear people going *burst out in laughter before asking their fellow movie watching buddy* "What did she/he say?" the movie is nice la but also abit slow...

Anyways I also watched another movie the next day (sh*t I am turning broke people!) 21 with SY! It is not tat bad a movie but it is rather long winded... but nonetheless quite nice but alittle confusing cos alot of math and stuff involved... judging from my GEK1505 Living with Mathematics module in semester1, we all know I'm not exactly very Einstein-ish so I was super confused with the whole counting thing in the movie but KATE BOSWOTH is damn hot!!!

And on saturday, went for Gary Cao Ge's concert with my sis and our frens. The concert is quite nice cos he got a super good voice! Although I only know a few of his songs (cos they are in CHINESE!!!) i realise tat he do have a lot of nice slow songs! So the next time I go KTV can go try to sing his songs HAHA

I was super engrossed with the light and line thing behind him cos it is just damn nice!!! There was also this other female singer who was there at the concert and she is so pretty too!!! haha

One last thing! I got to take a pic with FELICIA CHIN!!! haha She is so PRETTY and NICE!!! so friendly! and TALL!!! Love her in her platform and super high stilettoes! *In love*

Here are some of the things I did for the Complete competition which Sam introduced... The entire point is to design the contact lens case so here are some of the designs I have for the lens case.

Contact lens users might know the significance of these three numbers. So I decided to go for something simple and yet relevant to contact lens users.Ok this is a recycled image since there is a connection between your eyes and contact lens. So here it is.

I also came up with this while brainstorming.Trying desperately to think of ALL eye/contact lens stuffs.
I gave this the most thought and this is the most tedious one to do... but I'm happy with the end product since I was struggling with the PhotoShop software. Can someone tell me if it would be better if the mermaids are colored? and what color?

I PASSED my FINAL THEORY!!!

HAHA finally, after like dunno how many attempts, I've passed the stupid test! I was so worried I was gonna fail for the 12423th attempt la haha... anyways my mood was dampened when I went into Zara again to find that my white berms, which I got at 59.90, is now selling at 39.90... (guess they are really desperate in clearing their goods...) My heart sank when I saw the new price on the stupid tag la... but the lucky thing is there were no sizes left for me (not too small k it's too BIG! I squeezed into a size 30 waist slim fitting jeans in Topman jus now ok!) haha... *a desperate attempt at trying to console myself...*

Anyways... I cant wait for Hellboy 2 and The Dark Knight to hit the theatres! So exciting! The new series of Batman movies are jus so good! So much better than the other Batman movies in the past ok other than the one with Catwoman cos I just love Michelle Pfeiffer *Ok I dun really know how to spell her name and I'm jus to lazy to wiki her name now so leave it alone!* in the show! It is jus so nice... Furthermore it is, if I'm not wrong, the first Batman movie I watched when I was a little boy... MEMORRIESSSS!!! All alone in the MOOONLIGHTTTT!!!

Oh was out with Anli and QianHui (ok I feel like a third wheel again) today and we went down to Taka to hav dinner and we went for the food fair in the basement and I bought myself a SWEET POTATO!!! I felt like a Lao Ah Pek when I was eating the sweet potato and walking around Taka la... I can jus imagine how I looked when trying desperately to get the yummy sweet potato away from the super dry charcoal filled potato skin... I mus hav looked damn hungry and unglam man... hope no one was there to witness the entire unfortunate sight...

Tests, Mods, Competitions and JB

Hmm... been pretty busy the past few weeks from camp and outings and work, today is the day when I finally get a chance to just chill infront of my laptop...

OK enough of chilling cos I jus realised tat I have my Final Theory test tomorrow and I have NOT started studying for it yet! sucks... so wish me luck people! this is my second attempt at the test... maybe driving is jus not a talent of mine... anyways I also started to panic on next sem's mods!

Been reading and trying to decide on mods to take this coming sem and like always I'm LOST!!! But I'm confirmed taking:

Nm2101 Theories of Communication and New Media

NM3215 Advertising Strategies

Ya only these two... I'm undecided if I should take NM3223 Digital Photography and Imaging cos I cant take nice artsy farty PHOTOS! and I'm also undecided if I should take NM2216 cos I ear the final exam is to write a 5 one-page essay (yes I'm not sure what tat meant either but the numbers jus disgust me) I'm also considering doing Nm 3217 Publications Graphics and Design but I worry it would be like my NM2220 Media Writing module which requres me to write articles and judging from my blog posts I CAN'T WRITE to save my life! (Shit I just realised I dun have much talent ya? Damn...)

Anyways I'm also interested in doing NM3222 Interactive Storytelling, NM3216 Game Design and NM2210 Aesthetics of New Media... No.. I did not choose them cos they are Non-examinable modules (I'm not tat shallow) it jus so happens to be tat way! I jus thought the description of the mods seem rather interesting... but i worry tat if I were to take so many non-examinable mods, it would be very tough on me cos they would be very intensive on the projects and so being a last minute kind of person it's NOT GOOD!!! I can jus imagine me rushing 3 projects in ONE WEEK!!! shit...

I'm also thinking of minoring in Sociology but I'm not sure what to take... and furthermore Soci needs to write alot so ya falling back to my lack of writing ability, I worry it might be a grade puller... since I cant S/U it cos it's an arts mod... well not tat I would S/U it if it is not an Arts mod cos I didn't for my stupid Maths mod in sem 1... so ya... if soci doesn't work out, I need to do another Gem outside fac! So anyone interested in doing Gem with me?

Oh ya and not to mention, I have to rush a few entries for a design competition this SUNDAY!!! sian so busy... brain drain! not sure if can submit anything worth submitting haha...

Oh these were taken when JX and HX were getting their makeovers done in JB last Thurs! Although we spent MOST of the time in a salon, but it was still fun cos we were able to cam-whore and stuff!!! It was an insane wed and thurs cos went Mambo on wed night where I saw Russell and Michael Ser! And after sleeping for a few hours, we have to go down to kranji to make our way down to JB... and we even saw the same Ah Beng car outside Zouk on the roads of JB somemore! Hannah doesn't like her hair haha ya it does look too short doesn't it? Oh and Hannah's new camera is damn COOL!!! It has this ability to detect and capture SMILES!!! So when you bare your teeth and smile it will *CHEE KEH* take the shot down! But this led to a few funny shots cos the eager mcbeaver JX is constantly smiling like a clown! So Hannah and I always end up looking weird... The cam also has a multiple shots thingy... but it is too fast for us to think and pose for it nonetheless it is still damn fun and funny to look at the pics later! haha

Good morning upper east-siders (cos I jus woke up from my long evening nap!

Spotted King K walking around town in his red emo Elmo tee and berms, looking damn unglam, doing some crazy shopping with QianHui (Ok she made me do this cos she was emo-ing tat she was kept anonymous)... (Ok gets out of Gossip Girl mode)

OMG I cant believe that out of 7, only 1 night was spent sleeping at home on my comfy air-(polar bear killing)-con room while the rest were out with people and burning mid night oils! I sense super Kung-Fu Panda-ish dark eye rings appearing under my already Orh Bak Kak eyes... Anyways like I anticipated with my narrow knowledge of the international game Soccer/Football for some that Spain would win! Although I gotta admit I was as lost as our resident sex symbol Julian in trying to figure which team is Germany and Spain HAHA...

So we spent the night at our PR personnel of the Hokkien Pengs Raphael's chalet-like home watchin soccer, eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream and playing a game of super pigs! All was well cos no alcohol/slight alcohol was consumed =)

So as I was saying after staying an entire night awake, I had to take an hour (or more) long bus ride home to the hill of red, the legendary Ang Suah aka Redhill. I slept on my way home, slept for 3 hours on my bed before waking up to meet my QIANHUI to shop in town and it was damn fun till the sleepy bug bugged me again a few hours later... GUESS WHO'S BACK?!

OMG after 5 days of having no contact at all with the online world, I'm now busy reading 12762983pages of celebrity gossip (cos I like these sort of things to worldly affairs like politics and etc) on Perez Hilton and JustJared!

Anyways I just wanna say I so totally enjoyed ARTS Camp 2008! Luckily I went this time round as a councillor cos I missed my chance back when I was a freshie so this time round it kinda feels like a freshie experience for me as well except I'm not participating in alot of the games but I did for the SDU sponsored games like having a Secret Pal and the all so FUN water balloon fight on the fourth day of the camp! So totally RAWK!

Initially I was kinda apprehensive in attending the camp as a councillor cos I'm not exactly those super enthusiastic/Ra-Ra kinda person in camps so I'm worried I might dampen the mood of the Orientation Group (OG) but.... THANK GOD I WENT MAN!!! Cos it was so fun Fun FUN!!! I got to know so many people now! I found a Hi-5 buddy CINDY cos it seems like we are just so similar and stuff! Both of us are the very few councillors in the OG and we are damn unlike other councillors la which is cool! And this also applies to the entire OG as well! It is like when the entire Blue House was cheering and stuff or other teams are running around searching for the pit-stops, our OG is damn relax and CHILL!!! haha

Anyways as I was saying, I had my doubts on going cos firstly- I wasn't an S house freshie I was originally an R house freshie last year and so I'm worried I might not be able to fit in and stuff and secondly- I'm just not Ra-Ra enough man and thirdly- I'm SHY!!! haha

I am so quiet throughout the camp la, I don't lead cheers cos I paiseh not sure bout the lyrics and also later not hype up at all then damn anti-climatic haha but thank god for the super Ra-Ra gang of guys aka Hokkien Pengs in my OG! They are just plain famous in the entire camp man and they made the entire week bearable and super FUN! It just sucks that I wasn't there to run and play with them when they were having their beach games (cos I got station duties but it was fun being a station IC cos I finally understand how those station ICs feel now man its just plain SAI KANG) and when they were having late night chat and sleeping session on the roof-top on the last night of camp (due to some unforeseen throw face circumstances I am left immobile on my bed)!

So as I was saying, this camp is damn fun! It beats last year's O Week hands down man! People seriously bond better when they live together! And also my brand new super chic phone is now SCRATCHED!!! SUCKS!!! MAJOR SUCK!!! I knew I should have heeded Cindy's advice and not bring the phone to the beach man... *sounds of heart shattering*

And also this camp has taught me to control myself and refrain from grabbing just any cup or bottle in a club! Let's just say I now know how Ming Yang felt when he puked on the dancefloor (just that I didn't puke on the dance floor cos it was too cramp man if I did it would be totally grossness) I hope pictures of the unfateful moment will not surface on Facebook or anywhere else... and it sucks that Sabrina knows all these man... Humiliating...

Oh and I remember one more funny thing! It was the first night and I was all washed up and removed my contacts already and I walked to one of my freshie (Alvin's) room to chat and he immediately gesture for a handshake and said "I don't think we've been introduced."

I got confused with his weird behaviour cos I was thinking is this a joke!? Weren't we introduced in the morning already?! But I went for it and said "Ohkay... my name is Kern."

Immediately he asked "WHAT?! My god I thought you were a freshie la! You look so different in your specs! Look so studious!" (Ok this might not be exactly what he said word for word cos I am not a tape recorder but this is roughly how he reacted la) The next day, the same thing happened again with another councillor from another OG, cos I was too lazy to put on contacts and wax my hair! Geek in glasses...

Oh and camping is seriously bad for the skin! After rolling around on the grass last night, I have a pimple coming out on my left sideburn! And not to mention the late nights and scorching hot sun has given me a tan and also super dark eye rings under my eyes!!! ARGH!!! The DAMAGE!!!

Recently my phone which has been with me since my JC days(SEE I'm such a nice person! so loyal! Do not change my phone like my tee shirts!) have been suffering from a severe case of Alzheimer Disease... It is constantly entering into a state of unconsciousness and encountering no network coverage so I guess it is time to get myself a brand new PHONE!!!

And furthermore I was informed recently that my phone line has been expired since 2005 so I can now go renew my contract and get a new handphone so I went shopping for a phone yesterday and I FINALLY found my new love! I always wanted to get a moto-razor cos it is so NICE AND POSH looking! and I was introduced to the Ferrari special edition and it was love at first sight...

Today the worst thing happened to me... I just realised that it was Friday the 13th yesterday! And I suppose this is karma catching up with me... I was going through my 1hr vanity routine when the worst thing happened! I can't tell you what it is cos it is gonna sound damn stupid and retarded but I ended up with not just a bruised nose but my ego as well... And the past few days of nose activity I have due to sneezing and over flowing mucus, has led to the sprouting of some bumps and peeling around the nose/upper lip area! so ANNOYING!!! Today is one of the days where I just feel ugly and gross...

SUCKS!!! and I feel miserable cos Marc told me there is a sale at FCUK and I assume by today EVERYTHING would be swiped out so I'm feeling miserable to not be involved in the swiping...

But it was not all bad... I watched the Victoria Beckham: Coming to America reality tv show once again! So I had my fabulous laughs and is now feeling the Fierceness again! ok I think I am not making sense so cheerios!

Just finished with the season finale of LOST season 3 and it's so BORING!!! So much mystery and secret and well I suppose those who are LOST viewers would either know or seen the finale and those the rest would be those who don't care what happened to the cast of LOST... (wise decision to give up on the show cos it's so draggy)

Anyways the show apparently showed us a glimpse of the future and Jack (the super boring main lead) is a junkie with no life... the last few moments of the show is supposed to be those *SUPER LOUD AND LOG GASP* moment but apparently it didn't work on me cos I was jus simply going through the motion of finishing the show man... just want to know what's up with the stupid ISLAND!!!

And I wonder if you all might like my song selections below haha hope they are nice... I am going for the more groovy beat kinda songs so ya'll rawk your world!!! Oh! I rememebered what I wanted to say! I wanted to share with you all that the movie starring Will Ferrell, Stranger Than Fiction is just MARVELOUS!!! It is one of the best shows I've seen so far! Love everything of it! haha just go watch it. It is nice!

It's about the boring life of a tax-auditor person who is obsessed with maths and not doing anything spontaneous. And one day he hears a person narrating his life! So a series of events changed his views on leading his life and something happened at the end which was MARVELOUS! And it made me cry a river with pearls of tears rolling down my rosy cheeks... Go watch!!!

Majorly sick!

Feeling super sick right now as I am writing this post... The flu bug caught up to me and let's hope it doesn't escalate to something worse...

Anyways last night was supposed to go mambo but due to the super bad flu I am having since yesterday morning, I can't make it... so today I decided to not go to work cos I woke up feeling alittle groggy and sick... (I knew I was sleeping too late the last few days and have been consuming nothing but super unhealthy-artery-clogging-fat-inducing food like lots of potato chips and half a tub of ice cream... THE FATS IN MY BODY!!! and not exercising is not exactly helping... so gonna return to being a FBB once again... SHIT!!!)

So ya as I was saying, I skipped work and I decided to spend my free day doing nothing but my favourite activty of all time... watching shows from Tudou! haha Oh and before I forget, a few days back, I finally finished watching the latest season of Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives! And soon I will be done with Supernatural and Season 3 of Lost! So happy these are gonna be over and done with... been on delay for like forever...

So as I was saying Desperate Housewives' season finale was OK I would say but the last few moments before the credits start to roll was disturbing... dun like what the future holds for them... and for Ugly Betty, handphone assaulting super model Naomi Campbell and AA-now rumoured to be lesbian Lindsay Lohan made special appearances on the show! Naomi Campbell's moment on the show was HILARIOUS not so much for LL... she was a school mate of Betty and they were supposed to play dodge ball the entire part spelled B-O-R-I-N-G!!!

And rumours( a very old rumour) have it that people are so happy with MAJOR posh spice VB's guest starring appearance on one of the episodes of Ugly Betty that they might be asking her to reprise her role again! In VB's words MAYJOR!!!

So this reminds me of VB's canned/summarised reality tv show Victoria Beckham: Coming to America... it was so NICE!!! Love the show watched it a million times and my favourite moments on the show were when she got caught by the traffic police and she was worried cos she wasn't wearing any heels! and when she pose for her driving license's picture so majorly hilarious and fabulous! Love every second of it!

Never knew what the acronym stood for but I know the words 'Short' and 'Message' are inside and how tough isit for someone to just send a 'get well soon' message?

What used to be something frequent and abundant/excessive for some, is now rare, short and sounding abit foreign. A picture says a thousand words and I think this applies to SMSes now too... what is said or not said shows exactly what one feels towards another... the tone and words used in the message, some might say is deciphered by the reader but, sometimes the cues are there and there is no mistake what it actually meant.

Was sitting on the bus today when suddenly I remembered the good old days where JX and I were constantly going crazy about playhouse disney at my house and being all artsy fartsy haha... and especially since I went shopping yesterday and saw a Fendi covered book with their catalogues inside so NICE!!! haha was reminded of our ULTIMATE X'mas present for Salty and the gang in 2006! (it felt like it was yesterday but who knew 2 years has passed and like these files, it is nothing but a memory now) One of our best art works, I would say, all done from scratch and I even did one for my 21st birthday as well! haha

The files would not have been possible if not for JX and for ages I've wondered if it was JX or me who are the creative one and I've been trying to compete with her during the times we were smsing like mad... well maybe we were both muses for one another... I dunnoe...

Anyways... It was one of our most exciting, fun and enriching days (stress also cos I'm always grouchy when doing the files)!!! haha we even named them haha... My personal favourite is Disco Diva the hot pink one with a metal studded spine. It is so NICE!!! But it was Hannah's present so I have to do another one for myself which is the black and red one with diamond studs forming my initials... yes I know the red diamonds are not very centralised and stuff but it is just so tough putting it together la! and can I say I was the creative director throughout! I thought of ALL the designs haha but yes JX did help too haha but I cannot just steal the limelight cos JX did give some very good suggestions and her needlework helped alot if her career fails next time I think she can be a professional tailor haha...

If I can get more pictures of the files close up then I would post them here but if not then this is the best I could show you... and maybe I can take a picture of my own file and my birthday one (if I get it back from JX) haha

High School Reunion

Have I changed? Have I walked out of my past and fit in for once?
Does everyone have part of their lives where they want locked inside a save and buried deep underground and decompose over time?!

There was a time where I hate being myself. That I do not fit in and I put up this façade trying desperately to fit in. I never liked to talk about my past not when I am the butt of all jokes, not when everyone knows me in 3 other names other than my real name (and that does not include Kern).

Like a self mutilating individual, the pain inflicted by the knife’s sharp edge leaves scars behind. The damage done made me into who I am today. A private and fearful person who hides behind a mask away from criticism and forever worrying what others might think of me.

Hiding behind a mask has made me someone with multiple personas, and I think I have different Me-s in different group settings. And sometimes I have difficulty finding my true self. Do I even have a true me? Will I like it? Most importantly would other people like it too?

People might say why live your life for others? But it is easier said than done. If other people do not like you then why bother living when life would be miserable and pointless? Certain thoughts have occurred to me before but I’ve never acted upon them. Am I not damaged enough?

Will I ever walk out of my shadows? Or will my past catch up with me eventually? What will I do when it does?

AHHH!!!

Today the worst and most embarassing thing happened to me! I was on my way home after a hard morning BADminton workout with SH, Cindy and her God-Like-Somebody-Stop-Him boyfriend at Bukit Gombak Sports Center (Ok... I dunno why I travel ALL the way there just to play badminton but yes I did and this is not the first time... the things I do for my friends... I should get the NOBLE PRIZE!!!), I was listening to my ipod and singing and belting like a superstar and acting all Nikki Blonsky (the fat leading girl in the movie with the big hair... no not the older one, that is John Travolta guys...) in Hairspray the Musical, when I was SPOTTED by RIDZA CHEE WA WA on his bus ride down to Chinatown!!! THE HUMILIATION!!!

He still got the cheek to call and sms me that he spotted me in my red elmo tee and stop singing on the streets of Redhill! Such audacity! Now I feel like I'm being watched... I'm a CELEBRITY!!! My god... the story of my life... so much DRAMAAA!!!!

Anyways before ALL these drama things happened, I heard and watched the performance of the Pussycat Dolls' performing their new song 'When I Grow Up' on Jimmy Kimmel's and the VMAs and the song is awkwardly NICE! haha I so can relate with the song haha but the first few times I heard it, I keep hearing...

"When I grow up I wanna see the world I wanna drive nice cars I wanna have BOOBIES!"

HAHA I keep hearing that when it was playing on and on on youtube and Nicole Scherzinger is so HOT HOT HAWT!!! But so selfish of her to keep hogging the lime light when it is a Pussycat Dolls' performance and not a Nicole 'Failed solo career' Scherzinger's show...

Oh... and I have an idea of how my new big-head-emo-pupil-less-characters (I need a name for them sucks) is gonna look like it's gonna be a girl! haha and oh seems like the girls think the beanie hat one is a boy and the guys seem to think it's a girl... hmmm another example that guys and girls look at things differently...

Ok after drawing my Quincy/Angel drawing a few days back, I've always wonder if I can draw something else similar to that (cos u know somethings are like they cannot be replicated? the 'niceness' will no longer be there dunnoe why but this just happens... well maybe it's just my problem but ya...) so today after drawing a few 'Little Fly'-s for my storybook (cos it might be sent in for competition!!!), I decided to draw a brand new emo character! haha

Not sure if it is a girl or guy cos I originally was going for a boy but the look just became more girlish... so ya well the androgynous look is in now! so ya here are just how the process went... a sketch of it then I colored it and now it look like this! ok I noticed that I suck at choosing colors so ya the colors might make it uglier so HELP!!! and I wasn't sure if I should color the eyes and the skin cos it looked weird after I colored them jus now...

Anyways as some might notice... there might be some pencil markings on the cap area cos I tot it looked kinda empty so decided to draw a star but it looked HIDEOUS! so decided to erase it off and since I am not using an original pencil but a mechanical one, so there are markings... ya... so if u hav any ideas on what to place up there pls let me know ya!

Ok... here is the second Little Fly... Since the problem lies in Little Fly so I was tasked to redraw our cute main character! But I'm wrecking my brains inside out for the next best looking Little Fly and yet still matches the art of the other characters as well... hmmm... seems like people are not liking the light bulb on the head as it no longer resembles a Firefly but dunno wat it looks like now haha so looks like it's back to the drawing board!

Never knew painting a few doors (2 to be exact...) could be so TIRING!!! I think if all else fails I could just become a professional painter! haha Maybe like what JX said a Groom My Room painter for Kids' Central haha...

Being a blue collar worker dun seem to suit me pretty well, one thing is cos I HATE to PERSPIRE!!! If you know me well enough u will know that I can dispense GALLIONS of perspiration and unfortunately, that also applies to my palms too... and also usually blue collar jobs are just so hazardous like thousands of splinters or being in close proximity of potential lizard or other insect attacks or WORSE suffer severe suffocation from gigantic dust balls! And furthermore, I just dun have the appropriate attire for activities like these! Such a pain! I think I am just more suited to be either a white collar or round collar tee shirt kind of guy who sits in an air-conditioned place and away from the sun, sand and sea.

And just now while I was painting away like a coolie in the 50s (or somewhere around that era together with the samsaui women and Raffles) slogging my guts and intestines out and trying desperately to channel my best PCK persona, people (especially those at the coffee shop downstairs) were staring and avoiding me, not cos I SMELL but, cos the paint stink like a constipated cow who finally shat 214248days later!!! The most heartwrenching moment was when a mother was shouting out to her hyper active son running 12491miles away before her saying "BOY AH! DUN GO THERE!!! SMELLY!!!"

My heart shattered into a million pieces and turned into ash and blown away by the wind... *this is the time where you start smsing/msning/calling me to ask if I'm ok and ask me to go out cos my post exam routine was nothing but house confinement!!! Come on people! the PHONE WORKS BOTH WAYS!!!

Anyways as I was saying, I was a blue collar for a day and it is just freaking tiring! I dunnoe how my grandmother managed to paint the house for so many years!!! However I think painting runs in my blood or something cos, not that I am boasting or what... but I did such a great job! HAHA After this I think it would be the next coat on Wednesday and maybe after that I can do some additional design to it or something. =)

Always wanted to watch it cos of the good reviews it gets, and finally I found that Ade has the DVD so I borrowed from her and watched it and YIPPEE it IS NICE!!! haha Although the ending left us with a question mark, but it still completes the show (I thought) the second movie was totally redundant but it's also not bad although not as good as the first movie haha (don't this just happen to all sequels?)
and yes I know they are not that OLD but it's still a fews years back...

Blue Lagoon - Super NICE!!! Although abit draggy but it's nice! No... not cos of the nude scenes and sexual inuendoes involved I go for more depth and uses my sociological imagination (still not sure what it is but it always makes me sound/feel damn smart!) to understand the content portrayed in the era of bad CG and stuff.

YATZEES!!!

Yesterday was the happiest day of my life!!! ok I think it is... but anyways I managed to pull my CAP VERY CLOSE to what I was aiming for this sem! *takes out party hats and pop come champaign!* I am 0.05 away from my targetted average score!!! haha ok it would have been a 3.5 if I had not forgotten to SUed the stupid 'Living with Mathematics' big fat C+ last sem!!! the HORRORIBLE NIGHTMARE!!!

Looks like being a Mugging King this sem paid off well! hmm tats cos i was lacking distractions ths sem... good/bad not sure yet.... but this means i mus be a mugging king next sem n do more DESIGN modules!!! cos they "ROCK MY SOCKS OFF!" (Ridza, 2007) [ok not sure how the whole quoting thing works but tat is a quote from a god-like fren with phenomenal CAPs...]

And yesteday was fun meeting out with SY and SH!!! SH brought us to this KTV place at bugis and its way better than partyworld or kbox!!! Its dirt CHEAP (11am-6pm at just 20 bucks and lunch was included with free flow of drinks!!! sing till your face become green and your throat turns hoarse!) and last but not least.... it has the largest selection of ENGLISH SONGS!!! from the REAL FERGIE 'Big Girls Don't Cry' to the REAL DEAL 'SexyBack' too!!! my favourite performance was when I was belting out Madonna's 'Ray of Light'! such a divalicious moment that leaves you wanting MORE!!!

anyways after that we went to hav 'SOUP SPOON' which was horrendous cos we could have much cheaper and better food at CENTRAL! and the muffins/cupcakes (dunnoe the difference) are so cheap and yummy too!!! we had terrible dinner cos of stupid 'blackhole' SY! hmm i don't think we did too much cam whoring but it was still fun!

hmm you know how sometimes you just wanna dress up? ya i had one of those moments yesterday and dressed up too much for a day of KTV and walking around bugis to suntec to marina square to central... luckily yesterday was not a super hot hawt day... it would have been so terrible to feel my pores expanding and perspiration gushing out of them like a tsunami...

It was supposed to be two different drawings. The eye and the name are seperate drawings but I decided to join them together and they rock together don't they? haha anyway I thought I was super smart when I came up with such a unique name 'Kern' but apparently it appeared in so many different places before!

The first time I heard it was when I was watching Kyle XY and a scientist was named Dr Kern or something... then after that I heard it in lecture, Kerning is the spaces between letters (cool right?!) haha and finally Adeline told me she saw Kern in some literature text... Macbeth to be exact... haha Kern is a light infantryman in the Middle Ages, from wiki haha... My god such history and sophistication! to appear in such an arty and profound literature text - Macbeth! I especially like the word LIGHT infantryman... cos it means SKINNY!!! haha ok ok I'm ranting non stop again... so basically the amazing me seemed to be deeper than I thought I am! to know Macbeth! haha

Super proud of it! ok it might resemble woodstock from Snoopy bcos I was using inspiration from Snoopy... so now gotta draw a new Fly for the competition... Will work hard for the win!

Was remembering the day when we were watching the other groups presenting their storybooks in the LT... some were so amateurish done haha love ours and yes there were some which were damn good haha but ours rawk their socks cos it came in third! It's a group effort cos without the rest the storybook wouldn't have worked out so well... haha I must redeem myself by drawing the best looking and cutest Firefly for the book!

Ok THIS is the final product just imagine it being a card folded up and inside if I'm not wrong, is the puzzle heart at the bottom haha... (didn't want the inside to be empty cos EVERYONE did it... Singapore's Kiasu Mentality kicks in)

I also had a hard time getting this love card right bcos I personally hate this assignment's topic... so BORING!!! and we are being judged by the choice of color used for the card and I was super contradictory (if I remember correctly) I was going on and on in my portfolio saying how I would not use the standard RED or PINK and here it is... ONE BIG PINK CARD!!! haha the original idea was to create a postcard for the one right below and have it printed on weaved grey and white paper most likely but it was too much work and i was a procrastinator (yes I'm super proud with myself for using a 5 syllable word haha) I thought it would be something fresh not a card and its so simple, so Ashlee Simpson and Avril Lavigne-ish! But it didn't become reality so yes...

This third image is so cliche, so I scrapped the idea although I liked it but not as much as the second one haha so proud of myself...

This is the worst and troublesome assignment EVER!!! It took me the entire semester to finally come up with these two posters man... and I was still getting mixed reviews for them... weirdly enough the girls seemed to like the fruit poster better than the barbie doll one... but EVERYONE agreed that if a baby doll is used instead of Barbie, it would be better but I just dunno where to get a baby doll!!! I was so annoyed with the product that I was having such a hard time getting this assignment right!

But do I practice what I preach? Maybe... haha

Ok... I remember doing this one night before the deadline cos if I'm not wrong there was a test or something like that (Yes I'm a Mugger King remember?!) and I didn't wanna choose something simple to abstract... so I decided to use my Grandfather Clock (although it does not belong to my grandfather not that I rememeber him anyways...) for my abstraction assignment.

It's not bad I would say haha some commented how tough it must have to draw something so intricate and detailed haha yes it was tiring that's why I had a major skip of abstraction somewhere but for my A+ grade it is all worth it now haha and if I'm not wrong I am the only one doing this clock and not a watch haha

This clock thing reminds me of Madonna's song 'Hung Up', as the lyric goes...

Pretty, Simple and Rich… These are the qualities I seek in a girlfriend/wife ideally of course. Well I know when I mentioned about these qualities during class, the girls were not so secretly cursing behind my back and maybe some might even do voodoo on me or something when they get home. However, people are lying when they say looks do not matter!

Love at first SIGHT

To not appear shallow, people would either say ‘character’ or ‘feeling’ or whatever. However, humans are driven by primal instincts and this is what I call LUST. Without a doubt I do agree that ‘character’ and ‘feeling’ are important in a stable relationship. But how do you gauge a person’s ‘character’ or the ‘feelings’ you two share upon first meeting? These are traits that require interaction and time, something a person would be exposed to after deciding to interact upon liking the other party’s exterior.

Simple Life

When I say ‘Simple’, I think the class all assumes it to be ‘dumb’, ‘stupid’ or whatever. I mean I am not the smartest person around I’m neither an Einstein nor a Newton, I do not even know the difference between Obama and Osama! Ok I might be exaggerating a little but that’s true. Politics and world news just do not interest me yet!

The people I idolize are Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham, whom has acknowledged the fact that she hasn’t read a single book on her life before. I mean no one in life wants to constantly put downed because of his/her area of interest! The new century is ruled by information and how everyone is exposed and is able to decide what kind of information they accept or not. So if you ask me who is in rehab and who is not I can tell you like reciting the ABCs. But ask me who is the president of whichever country and I might say “Does the country even exist?”

Naivety and innocence is so hard to find nowadays. Everyone is constantly trying to prove another person’s mistake or something. Don’t you want to go home after a hard day’s work (Ok some might say this is a gender biased thought but can we just look past this for a moment and listen/read!) and not talk anything political or ‘smart’ and just lead life as simple as possible? Like on stupid and ridiculous things that are just nonsensical to others but mundane and interesting for the two of us?

Money, Money, MONEY

In today’s societal context, money makes the world go round. Nothing comes without a price, and this applies for LOVE. Why is it ok for girls to seek for rich men and ‘wrong’ for men to have a rich or financially stable wife as well? I’m trying to not be chauvinistic here. I’m totally alright if the wife is working and I’m not! I mean I can work too but if there is a need for me to not work, I’m ok with it.

People might take the 3 qualities as extremes, but I’m not looking for a rich and bimbotic SUPERMODEL who doesn’t know how her right from left! I’m just looking for a pretty adorable girl who is not tainted by the society’s greed and evil and is financially stable enough for the two of us to live a comfortable and normal life!

(Ok maybe a few Gucci bags here and there!) Well consumerism is a way of life!

Hi ya'll! first entry! This is a new blog for myself, I'm abandoning the previous one (it was for my fav module of sem2! NM2208! HOOT!!) but I'm gonna bring the art back! haha hopefully that is what ya'll think it is and not trash... ok now I'm talking trash... anyway everything here is gonna be about me if not about VB! haha

Don't expect too much words cos i'm not exactly a writer (its clearly shown on my results) so I am gonna post my ART works here! I thought they were moderate cos I'm not good with photoshop and illustrator and stuff but I'm so glad I got an A+ for it! so I decided to jus bring everything into this blog and show off again!
